Wells..... They do have 7 mill in cap space. The cap trouble for Philly has been severely over exaggerated... Flyers only need to sign MDZ and White and Deal a Dman as they have 8 right now.

Sabres coaching ruined the kid.

So now it is two 1st round draft picks and two decent prospects for Lucic? That is a total win for Sweeney and makes the Jones part of the deal make a lot more sense now.

Also, as a resident of Manchester and a now former Monarchs ticket holder, I can tell you straight up that Colin Miller was one of the most exciting defensemen I've watched over the years and is already a more talented scorer than Hamilton in my opinion, and boy is he fast too.

I honestly don't think this Hamilton trade is as bad or worse than the Seguin trade like everyone is making out to seem on here and the radio. Nobody sees Dougie as a true franchise Defenseman... yet he's about to get paid more than one at 22 years old with a whole lot of potential still yet to prove.

Kid was an OHL stud, and had some decent NHL seasons.

Still 25, plenty of time to iron everything out in the right situation. For a minimum deal, well worth the risk.
